Full Society Privileges

Subject to the provision of the Constitution and bye-laws of the Society, a member shall be entitled to all privileges of the Society.

Society Publications

Every member shall receive copies of all publications of the Society free of charge or at a subsidized rate as deemed fit by the Executive Committee from time to time.

Annual Reports & Accounts

Shall receive a copy of the annual report and a statement of audited accounts of the society to stay informed about organizational activities and financial health.

Library & Reading Room Access

Shall be entitled to use the reading room and library of the society, accessing the latest medical journals, research papers, and reference materials.

Free Meeting Participation

Shall have the right to attend and take part in discussions in all general meetings, clinical meetings, lectures and demonstrations, organized by the Society free of charge.

Voting Rights

Shall have the right to vote on all resolutions, put forward at any general meeting of the Society in the manner as stipulated in the bye-laws.

Conference Access

Shall have right to attend Cardiology Conferences, Conventions, Seminars organized by the Society on such terms as laid down in the bye-laws.

Membership is open to all qualified cardiologists and cardiac surgeons practicing in Bangladesh. International cardiologists of Bangladeshi origin and cardiology residents/fellows may apply for associate membership.

Required documents include:

  • Completed application form
  • Medical degree certificate
  • Specialization certificate in cardiology/cardiac surgery
  • Current professional registration
  • Two professional references
  • Recent passport-sized photograph

Annual membership fees vary by category:

  • Full Member: BDT 5,000 per year
  • Associate Member: BDT 2,000 per year
  • International Member: USD 100 per year

Fees are subject to change by the Executive Committee.

The membership committee meets quarterly to review applications. Complete applications are typically processed within 4-6 weeks. You will receive notification by email once your application is approved.
