2024 Medical Student Scholarship Winners Announced

The Central Bangladesh Medical Association of North America (CBMANA) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Medical Student Scholarships. After careful review of over 200 applications, our selection committee has identified five exceptional students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to serving our community.

Scholarship Recipients

This year's scholarship recipients represent diverse medical specialties and institutions across North America:

• Ayesha Rahman - Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (Cardiology)
• Imran Khan - Harvard Medical School (Neurosurgery)
• Fatima Chowdhury - University of Toronto Medical School (Pediatrics)
• Rahul Ahmed - Stanford University School of Medicine (Oncology)
• Sadia Islam - University of Michigan Medical School (Internal Medicine)

Award Details

Each scholarship recipient will receive:

1. $10,000 financial award for tuition and educational expenses
2. Mentorship from senior CBMANA physicians
3. Complimentary registration for CBMANA annual conference
4. Research grant opportunities

Award Ceremony

The scholarships will be formally presented at the CBMANA Annual Convention Gala Dinner on November 15, 2024, at the New York Marriott Marquis. All CBMANA members are invited to join us in celebrating these outstanding future physicians.
